How this company have a 3.2 is crazy to me. They have been charging me monthly 250.00 for a two bedroom apartment. I haven't used my air or heat since February 2021 and still have the same amount due. No one is home 730 to 5. Lights go out at 8.So the amount t their charging is definitely overpriced. The rep signed me up for a 3 year plan, when I asked for one year. Now I have to pay 20.00 for every month signed up. He also informed me when he signed me up that my monthly payment should be less than 120.00. I've asked twice for someone to call me so I could here the recording when I signed up. Haven't gotten a call back yet. I've asked twice why my bill is so high. Haven't gotten an answer yet. This company is trash and I'm definitely getting out contact with them. If I l could leave a zero. I would.

I have truly enjoyed using TriEagle energy for the past 5 years. I have always received a good rate from them and during this past ice storm in central Texas, they did not inflate my rate like I’ve heard other companies have done.Signing up for their 36 month plan has always saved me money and of course, peace of mind when I hear that oil prices are going up.

Have had them for two years and they have the best rates I could find. I know what to expect with my bill each month with TriEagle's fixed rate plans. The only issue I have ran into is once your contract runs out you are put onto a variable rate which made my bill skyrocket. However, I contacted them and they explained to me what happened and walked me through the steps on renewing to a plan that fit me. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for electricity services.

Got to be candid. The electricity rates they published vs what I signed up for and what they bill is a no-go. That, and I have apparent energy spikes when there are no electronics nor appliances running (including TV's, heat, AC, no clothes washer/dryer, dish washing machine). About 40% higher than previous plans I have experience with, and the customer support is near non existent. Avoid.Update 2020: Almost 2 years later, they provided a refund. One star added to review.

Great experience I'm having with this company with my low electric bill. My electricity is so low in my new home in Richardson is less than $60 bucks. They send me weekly tracking reports via email which keeps me updated on my usage. It's also gives options on ways to keeping down while saving more $ money from leaving my wallet.

I have called numerous times to inquire about getting my deposit back, and I got the run around. I moved out of my rent house in 2019 over a year ago and have never gotten my deposit back., I tried e-mailing and got the run around. Do not trust this company they wont give you back your deposit. They said they sent it but I never got it, I called numerous times and gave them my new mailing address and they never sent it. There is only one phone number with voice prompts that seem to direct you to different departments but all the calls go to the same place. They are not helpful at all. They kick you down the curb, never return your calls and don't answer e-mails. They are cheap because they rip every one off.Update: Thank you for responding to my post and thanks for resolving my issue, I have received my deposit back.

The worst energy company ever, If possible I would give zero stars. If you looking for one, avoid TriEagle at all cost. Here is why. I signed a contract with them on July 15th, but I only moved to my APT ( 1 Bedroom with 557 Sq Ft) on July 31st (so the energy usage for the first 15 days should be very low since no one was living there). So, I only stayed 13 days in my apt and they sent me a bill of $170. Yooh that's not normal. So, I started turning everything off and started spending the whole day at school and at work, with the intention of reducing the energy usage during the day. Well, today I received my second bill, $257 for a 1 Bed with 557 Sq Ft. How is this even possible?So, then I asked how much I needed to pay for the cancellation fee, and they told me $700. Like these people are not serious. From what I read the cancellation fee is $20/month in the contract.

BALANCE BILLING IS SOMETHING I HAVE ALWAYS DONE WITH OTHER ENERGY COMPANIES AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM, TRI EAGLE WANTS TO UPCHARGE ME 690.00 SINCE MY 12 MONTH BALANCE BILLING HAS ENDED. BUT MY CONTACT HAS NOT ENDED, EVEN IF I DO ANOTHER 12 MONTH BALANCE BILLING THEY WANT THE UPCHARGE AND I AM STUCK WITH THIS GOD AWFUL COMPANY FOR 2 MORE YEARS.. DON'T GET SUCKED IN!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT I PROMISE YOU THAT.

I had a 3 year contract with TriEagle Energy and it was great. However, when the contract ended, they didn't offer me any good rates, so I decided to switch. Twice I have tried switching and they take back my account. They falsely claim to the new company that I am cancelling my new service. I have changed providers many times, and I've never had this much trouble leaving. I have submitted a complaint to Public Utility Commission.

Pure trash!! Gouged me during the pandemic era! I lost my job so I was given a promise gift payment. The next bill I got from TriEnergy was tripled, higher than any bill I had ever had in the one year history. On top of that my laundry dryer malfunctioned so I was not doing laundry and that particular month I found a job. No laundry, and working after 3 months but my bill trickled up!? The usage went from 800s to over 1100!!! HOW!?!?! I called them and could not get any help, no supervisor ever call me back after the promise.

Not recommend... I switched service with them and today should active the service. From 8am to till now 12:30pm I don't have service and it's too hot and we have baby. I called them they told me service come between 2pm to 9pm. It's bad management they should manage that without that long gap. Its really sad I got contract 2 years and today first day. I wish I can cancel contract with them.

SCAM ARTIST COMPANY! We called July 9 to start service July 10 BUT found a better deal and called back MAYBE 2 hours later to cancel. No service should have started AT ALL but we get a bill for 4 days of service! The rep on the phone just keeps trying to say its OUR RESPONSIBILITY to pay it because they MISTAKENLY STARTED THE SERVICE! What a HUGE SCAM!

I switched to TriEagle from Direct energy. I have never had an electric bill over 200.00 with Direct. Not sure I had one for 200.00. My bill this month is over 300.00. I’m so upset. I just don’t understand.. I have gas heat and hot water so not all electric. My electric is set at same temp as usual and the rate is very close to previous.?

TriEagle, can’t even connect the right meter to your apartment! Keep billing me for a meter that is not mine! I will pay whenever I have the right read of MY METER! Why would I pay for someone else’s electricity? Nobody wants to help me! Worse electricity company! I have reached out to the costumer care email, tried to talk to someone about it and NOBODY SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND THAT THEIR CHARGING ME THE WRONG METER! I also sent an email to their costumer care email Janaury 10th and I still haven't received anyone replying to my email and my concern. RUNNN! Don't get your electricity with them.

They send me weekly tracking reports via email which keeps me updated on my usage. It's also gives options on ways to keeping down while saving more $ money from leaving my wallet.

TriEagle Energy is a great company. They have been great. During the pandemic, my family and I were affected and lost a great amount of income. We are still trying to recoup the loss and TriEagle Energy has been so understanding. They have been able to extend our payment date so we can make the payment when we can. Thank you TriEagle.

I have called numerous times to inquire about getting my deposit back, and I got the run around. I moved out of my rent house in 2019 over a year ago and have never gotten my deposit back., I tried e-mailing and got the run around. Do not trust this company they wont give you back your deposit. They said they sent it but I never got it, I called numerous times and gave them my new mailing address and they never sent it. There is only one phone number with voice prompts that seem to direct you to different departments but all the calls go to the same place. They are not helpful at all. They kick you down the curb, never return your calls and don't answer e-mails. They are cheap because they rip every one off.Update: Thank you for responding to my post and thanks for resolving my issue, I have received my deposit back.

i actually like this company. had no issues for 4 years. no gimmicks and hidden costs. customer service is good too. some company charge you for a customer service call.

The worst energy company ever, If possible I would give zero stars. If you looking for one, avoid TriEagle at all cost. Here is why. I signed a contract with them on July 15th, but I only moved to my APT ( 1 Bedroom with 557 Sq Ft) on July 31st (so the energy usage for the first 15 days should be very low since no one was living there). So, I only stayed 13 days in my apt and they sent me a bill of $170. Yooh that's not normal. So, I started turning everything off and started spending the whole day at school and at work, with the intention of reducing the energy usage during the day. Well, today I received my second bill, $257 for a 1 Bed with 557 Sq Ft. How is this even possible?So, then I asked how much I needed to pay for the cancellation fee, and they told me $700. Like these people are not serious. From what I read the cancellation fee is $20/month in the contract.

BALANCE BILLING IS SOMETHING I HAVE ALWAYS DONE WITH OTHER ENERGY COMPANIES AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM, TRI EAGLE WANTS TO UPCHARGE ME 690.00 SINCE MY 12 MONTH BALANCE BILLING HAS ENDED. BUT MY CONTACT HAS NOT ENDED, EVEN IF I DO ANOTHER 12 MONTH BALANCE BILLING THEY WANT THE UPCHARGE AND I AM STUCK WITH THIS GOD AWFUL COMPANY FOR 2 MORE YEARS.. DON'T GET SUCKED IN!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT I PROMISE YOU THAT.

I had a 3 year contract with TriEagle Energy and it was great. However, when the contract ended, they didn't offer me any good rates, so I decided to switch. Twice I have tried switching and they take back my account. They falsely claim to the new company that I am cancelling my new service. I have changed providers many times, and I've never had this much trouble leaving. I have submitted a complaint to Public Utility Commission.

Pure trash!! Gouged me during the pandemic era! I lost my job so I was given a promise gift payment. The next bill I got from TriEnergy was tripled, higher than any bill I had ever had in the one year history. On top of that my laundry dryer malfunctioned so I was not doing laundry and that particular month I found a job. No laundry, and working after 3 months but my bill trickled up!? The usage went from 800s to over 1100!!! HOW!?!?! I called them and could not get any help, no supervisor ever call me back after the promise.

I have been very happy with the services I've received from TriEagle Energy! They have worked with me even those months that I wasn't sure I'd be able to pay my bill. Also, I'm also happy with the amount that I pay per Kilowatt. I can't see using any other Electricity company!

Not recommend... I switched service with them and today should active the service. From 8am to till now 12:30pm I don't have service and it's too hot and we have baby. I called them they told me service come between 2pm to 9pm. It's bad management they should manage that without that long gap. Its really sad I got contract 2 years and today first day. I wish I can cancel contract with them.

SCAM ARTIST COMPANY! We called July 9 to start service July 10 BUT found a better deal and called back MAYBE 2 hours later to cancel. No service should have started AT ALL but we get a bill for 4 days of service! The rep on the phone just keeps trying to say its OUR RESPONSIBILITY to pay it because they MISTAKENLY STARTED THE SERVICE! What a HUGE SCAM!

I switched to TriEagle from Direct energy. I have never had an electric bill over 200.00 with Direct. Not sure I had one for 200.00. My bill this month is over 300.00. I’m so upset. I just don’t understand.. I have gas heat and hot water so not all electric. My electric is set at same temp as usual and the rate is very close to previous.?

Difficult to use. Their automated phone payment system is confusing and does not work right. Too many issues. 18 minute hold. I had a question and the rep didnt let speak. They will speak over you. I am NOT keeping this company when I move.

TriEagle, can’t even connect the right meter to your apartment! Keep billing me for a meter that is not mine! I will pay whenever I have the right read of MY METER! Why would I pay for someone else’s electricity? Nobody wants to help me! Worse electricity company! I have reached out to the costumer care email, tried to talk to someone about it and NOBODY SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND THAT THEIR CHARGING ME THE WRONG METER! I also sent an email to their costumer care email Janaury 10th and I still haven't received anyone replying to my email and my concern. RUNNN! Don't get your electricity with them.
